Thanks, Margherita, for your lovely comment. It is barely worth posting poems here anymore, as so little feedabck is offered several good writers have already left, and the board has so much "clique" traffic. Oh, well.  |

This is beautiful and deserves another round!  What you say about feedback is true. There is great joy in sharing, but there is joy also in reading and commenting on each other's poems. And we wouldn't be honest if we said we don't care about having comments ... it's uplifting when we stir a reaction with our words. Maybe some are confused about critiques and comments. Even though quite a few say they don't want critiques, they do enjoy a comment though. The "clique" traffic as you say is a normal thing, of course we have our favorite poets and long time poet friends. That's a consequence of being interactive and knowing each other better. Certainly we are all busy people and when we can't stay hours on the site, of course we will joyously read and comment on a poem of a long time poet friend, rather than on one written by someone who never ever offered a comment to other poets. Please continue to enjoy Pip, you are a precious presence here and your very loving, pertinent and pondered comments are always much appreciated. I do hope those absent right now will come back quickly! Love, Margherita |
