Put the horn to your lips, make it wail, make it rip. The blues' has got to you, like a hole in your shoe. Let that horn blast it out, don't let there be a doubt. Reach up for that high note, let it moan, let it float. Let the sax do its thing, Getting' down, in the swing. The piano man's here, Even with a tin ear. Everything jammin' now, the blues are gone, and how. ©November 15, 2011 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |

Haahaaa! Get Lucille out and hit a few licks. Nice, Jerry. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

This reminds me of the French Quarter musicians... the first time I saw one on the corner after Katrina, I cried... in so many ways, the wail of a sax is the song of the city. |

"in so many ways, the wail of a sax is the song of the city" Absolutely suthern. I have stood in the shadows many a night and watched and listened to the music of street people. It still gives me goosebumps . . . Thank you for stopping by to listen . . . ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |
