I was in the courtyards of Vienna The wind said its heart belonged to another woman The skies were grey, greyer than usual with a hint of the sun peeking through from its mile high seat She lived in a modest home resting along the banks of the river Vienna, that sweet voice of hers like a melody of beautiful sequences The heart kept running alongside her skin as it became the idle, pale beauty like the morning fog that hovers above the courtyard pond, each and every day What I saw in her was A woman who could no longer be seen by the rivers heart She tried touching her elbows gently, twice But, the river kept running |
