Thoughts from my Paris sojourn September 2011

************************
It's midnight in Paris
and as I look out my French Doors
at the sparkling lights
and the long white clouds
hovering over the darkened skies
I quietly offer my thanks
and close my eyes
safe in the knowledge
that I had this day
and embraced the moments
in this city that I love

**********************

I went to sleep with
long white clouds
hovering over the Paris skies
I wake to them also
but these are fast moving
and the weather gods
are yet to determine the day
I must wait patiently for their decision
and as I do
I watch closely
as the city wakens
to its brand new day

Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight.........

Writing about Paris puts us on the same wavelength, I'm reading "Cosette: The Sequel to Les Miserables." Good book, as is your poem of Paris undefined weather.

this is delightful, I loved the imagery it conjured

Love is the life of the soul...
It is the harmony of the universe

They say "Home Is Where The Heart Is", and I know where your heart is. LOL!

You are indeed lucky to be where you love to be. Roniece and you write about it beautifully.
