The Best of Our Best????
(can it really be?)

Romney talked of, “Our precious dollars”
Why don’t, our “precious” people count?
Because, the bottom line of some folks
Is lined pockets, get lined by more, amount.

Scary Perry says, “No regulation!”
Don’t you think, that’s kinda far?
Plus, a clone of another Texan
Who took us all, to where we are!

Cain keeps on denying the truth
(Just another crooked politician)
Someday, the backers of this man
Will see the errors, of their position.

Ron Paul, too late with good ideas?
Of no account, Huntsman, Santorum
Michelle, mirrors a Palin face
Which should make us all, turn and run.

Funny how people don’t remember Newt
From all of those years, gone past
Guess memories of shame/disgrace
Are the kind, don't seem to last.

If I forgot to mention one of them
That’s of, no surprise to me
Because I don’t see, hope of change
In any new, potential, nominee!

If, this bunch of “American (?)” politicians
From, both sides of the so-called “aisle”
Is the best, we can come up with
It sure tickles me, but I don’t smile.

It’s just, the same ol’, same ol’
And all they do, is pass the test
To lie, and cheat, and steal, from us
We, who, can screw us all, the best‼

OOOOOPS!
(Perry quote.)

Yep. I agree with everything you said, except that Bush didn't get us to where we are, he might have STARTED it, but why are you not giving Hussein some credit for destroying the American economy and throwing millions of people out of work? Like I said, I concur with every line you wrote except I am weary of the "Bush did it" syndrome.

I did note that line. You still left out Hussein (by name) and the damage he has done, and I can pretty much guess why you have done that. Doesn't matter, I just thought I might get a straight answer out of you, a man who expects the same from the lily-livered politicians in this country.

Kinda agree with Jerry ... and where are the names, major names . . . from BOTH sides of the aisle (or did I just blow by them ... sorry if so) ... looks more like signaling out to me.

Me.  I don't like either side of the aisle! Don't see any "choice" at this point, at all.

Oh, and I did see the "new" --- sorry, you just can't ignore the existing like that as it will be a "new" term.

Always a good read from you, though, Abe.
