I can't say them fancy words,
Like some poet feller,
'Cause I ain't got me any smarts,
I'm sure as heck no speller.
So if'n I got me words to say,
I up and spit 'em out,
Even tho' most folks ain't sure,
As to what I'm talkin' 'bout.
The way I figger, as long as I,
Know what I am a sayin'
At least one fool will be aware,
Of what I am conveyin'.
I guess that's all I have to say,
I'm done with this here ditty.
I 'pologize for what I've written,
It sure as heck ain't pritty.
