I imagine warm murmurs on the wind
Arousing her from serenity's sleep.
She arises to begin the day's call,
Into the kitchen for coffee she creeps.

Does she know the spell she has cast on me,
As she treads softly into the day's grip?
I see her in moon's luminescent glow
As the coffee begins its steady drip.

Music filters into my thoughts of her;
Simple two-step played out on the dance floor
I see her stop, tilt her head as if she
Can hear the waltz as she stands by the door.

Coffee in hand, my dear sits down to zip,
Head moving slightly, the music still there.
She begin to hum a song with no name,
With a wry smile she's suddenly aware.

The music stopped as she remembers why
It was there in the first place; sent to her.
Her delightful smile fills her face with glee,
She begins to hum again, almost purr.

You made her smile, and
she is beautiful,
and your memory of her
is grandiferous....
