A mixture of homemade ice cream Some of it dripping down your chin You reach down and snare it with your finger Slurp it back in again Can there be anything better than homemade ice cream It's almost sinfully exciting Give you a feeling akin to ecstasy As bits of it keeps missing your mouth Making things messy Ah, but that is the joy of the moment The sloppy moments of oozing ice cream On a hot sultry day Be careful now Don't trip over that garden hose ©October 27, 2011 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~* If they give you lined paper, write the other way. ~*~ |
