summer was the slender limb dawn
her beckon tree was damp with saliva
she pressed nipple fingers in my panting places

then with autumn there came the balance
her scales were polished like orgasms
and she was hidden behind the fog hounds often

til the noon of days she would be liquid
making the noises of daring to my thirst
but being sealed inside her proper hermetic

and now the winter brings her sparse limbs
still the long bows of seduction, nude drawn
but without the need of an arrow to splinter

she is a hurry song and dark waits with daring eyes

Your poetry is like bath water, makes me want to just sink into it and soak it up awhile....

Nice autumn undertones you wrote.

Hugs dude~

Excellent, as your poems always are..

I am feeling a little spent myself, welcoming the fall to lose her adornment, that has been torn by much rain, and windy weather.

Really, I don't know why, but my first
envisage of the poem
was of the Lady, Liberty...

who sees all, says nothing, but still
there is the lightest of smile,
in an all knowing ever.

Ever awaits...even in shadows.
