A spark, her flame,
bursts then fades,
in an instant.

But for love's sake,
arise and taste
newborn desire.

Two orbs of light,
shrouded in lust,
wither away.

Remnants, rivers
beneath the rising sun,
guide us home.

Love does have that bad habit of fading away when lust has had enough.
