longings I miss you in Springtime with the gentle sunshine on the first lovely blossoms of a renewing world. I miss you in Summer with the fullest expression of life’s infinite diversity and grand design. I miss you in Autumn with the pensive mists and strongest sense of transience, loss and inevitable change. but, I miss you most in Winter (the season you so dearly love) with the first silent, white-velvet mantle of new fallen snow that veils even the very saddest and worst of mens many mistakes. --- b. e. adams (10/16/2011) |

Such a reflective poem, the missing is sadly beautiful. |

I agree with Blues, it is sadly beautiful in spirit, as well as picturesque. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

I love the crescendo of your longing, dear Bruce, that culminates in Winter and I do know the feeling too. A superb write I can relate to. Margherita |
