It's somehow my intrusion on your silence that bothers me more than your silence. I'm ashamed that I would want you and crave just one word from you when just a word from you requires just too much effort. My own breach of that silence screams loudly at my pride and my self-respect. My breach of silence exposes me and leaves me in danger. I'm in danger. I'm in danger and I'm ashamed and yet, depite my shame, I'm proud. I'll take risks and be exposed and I'll be in danger. Sometimes the risk may just be worth it and I'm willing to try. You're silent (are you in hiding?) I'm exposed and though I hate to admit it, vulnerable. Perhaps I will also go into hiding. Though knowing myself I'll never hide. I'm a risk-taker, a trouble facer and a life embracer. I'm out here in the open. I'm alone out here in the open. I want you with me, but you're safe and hidden away. |

"I'm out here in the open. I'm alone out here in the open. I want you with me, but you're safe and hidden away." I can feel the conflict, but sometimes being a chameleon may be best. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. Maranatha! |
