                Indian Summer

Beyond a deep blue boundless sky of
drifting clouds and gentle sunshine
just past the warm and carefree taste
  of a lingering-Summer sunset,
inexorable change whispers round
every corner to the lonely mind
in the evening breeze that rustles
  and stirs
the very first color-tipped leaves
to dance to Autumns tune
beneath a vast, orange October
  moon rising
against an infinite black-velvet cloak
of endless stars and finest memories.

How magical are your visions, dear Bruce.

It is a joy to share them with you through your exquisite poem.

Dear Bruce, you paint such a vivid portrait, both visually and emotionally.  I especially liked your first line, and this~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
inexorable change whispers round
every corner to the lonely mind
in the evening breeze that rustles
  and stirs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Such a warm and wonderful beauty this is.

Just gorgeous!!
