I watch you take her hand Then write her name on the sand I see everything you do Even heard you say "I love you" Then I cry Coz I'm hurting inside But I'll try to smile Coz I know you're alright I didn't mean to say goodbye I didn't mean to make you cry All I wanted to do Was stay right beside you I see you whisper sweet words When you were in a battle, she was your sword I see you give her a kiss I closed my eyes coz God knows how much I miss this I didn't mean to hurt you bad I didn't mean to make you sad I never wanted to go Baby I loved you so I feel tears falling from my eyes I wanna say I'm happy but it's a lie I miss you babe, do you still think of me? Do you remember what we used to be? I look around me and I see Things are not perfect here like it's supposed to be God took my hand and cried with me Said child set yourself free Now I watch you walk down the aisle After a long time, I finally smiled Then you said, " For the girl who took my heart for the first time, You'll forever be in my heart and in my mind, You don't have to worry now I found my happiness and today I'll say my vows I thank you for guiding me all this time I just hope, up there, you're doing fine We all miss you and I hope you understand I found somebody to hold my hand I tried to go down and reach you And whispered words so true Go and be happy my sweet baby I'm letting go, yes you're free Thank you for keeping me in your memory But the two of you are meant to be I'll always treasure you in my heart And this time it's not gonna be hard I'll be your angel guiding your every way And now let me witness your very special day...
