I goaded myself on a bellyful of ignorance and attitude then hurled my patience and gratitude My finger pointed just and true.... ...how does that go? “One at them Three back at you”... My indignation felt so good for a change from poor me fodder The nerve of some people giving me respite from my own From higher learning I still remember we each unto another a purpose serve by learning or to teach And in truth it takes us each within our skin And what irks me about another is a surly something irksome in me So what's my problem and my indignation dissolves into inquisition and I'm back to battling my own demons again But still, in that stirring from my stupor by that oh so sort of stupid only known to humanity that puts a fire under me, I am alive! Championing the underdog! My anger is condoned my flame becoming but benign LGR(C)10/2/11 |

WoW! Some inspiring homespun philosophy in this great piece of writing, Lori. From the depths of your soul you have reached in and declared to the world certain pieces of yourself you want told. Your words are to be valued for what they are . . . Your humanity on parade. I absolutely loved this. ~~ Those who are silent are the first to be shot. ~~ |

Yes, Lori: the fluid-moving fire begins and ends with you..I like the innocuous benign ending. Soulful read, Al |

Your delving into that deeper side of you again, Lori. As I said before, I like this side of you. quote: Intriguing thought. Enjoyed the read. Michael |

"I am alive! Championing the underdog! My anger is condoned my flame becoming but benign" Passive aggressive, with such passion. I really enjoyed this. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |
