The Kiss I held you in quiet anticipation, Longing to taste your sweet sensation. Longing to peel away your silver attire, To fulfill that deep burning desire. I slowly pulled the dangling string That released your nakedness to sing. I gazed upon you, eyes aglow. Drawing you closer, sweet and slow. Allowing my tongue the slightest taste, Hardly able to hold back my haste. I once more looked upon your dark skin, Pondering consequence of my sin. Then no longer able to fight the urge, The moment rushing with a mighty surge… To my lavished tongue, fallen prey, Like chocolate, you melted away. Oh, a moment that passed way to fast… I guess nothing this good can last. But now that you're gone all seems amiss. Sure wish I had another Hershey's kiss. LOL... What a delight this is!! I savored every line! *S* I've never questioned that you could write any genre but if I had??? *S* This definitely answered any doubts! LOL Now I'm having to fight the temptation to go buy a bag of those little bells... Hershey's should hire you! *G* |

Extremely tempting, dear Michael. I resist, but only because I had capitulated just a few minutes ago ... don't know your Hershey kisses, here there are "Baci Perugina". Very nice. M |

Ruth, yeah, I suppose I don’t have to write Dark all the time… but this is honestly some 12 years old. I just posted it because Lori’s Chocolate Kisses poem reminded me of it. Send me some more challenge lines and I’ll break the darkness soon enough. James, Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed. Blues, Indeed… you can never get enough. Kat, Margherita, Ah, you can’t just share the name… What’s in a "Baci Perugina"? Michael |

Michael - Again, I've been seduced by the Chocolate side of the Force. I know now that resistance is futile as you so aptly demonstrate in this poetic gem. Now when I go searching for chocolates, I'll hear a voice guiding me and saying "Use the Force Namyh, Use the Force" to which I'll look up and reply "Is that you Michael?". LOL. Loved the craft of your work here M and much enjoyed. Namyh |

You definitely should taste this tempting "kiss" In all of the kisses there is a little quote about love in five languages ... it's the chocolate for those in love par excellence. In its core there is a hazelnut, on the outside there is dark chocolate. M |

Namyh, Indeed, resistance is futile. I’m glad you enjoyed. Margherita, wow – a Hershey’s kiss seems to pale badly in comparison. I stand envious. Put me on your Christmas list would ya? |

You got me so good with this one, Michael. I was riveted and mesmerized by the pictures you created ... and now. Well now. I want chocolate. A |
