Written July 24, 2007 You walk along a long path Through trees that you feel Are enveloping you You look around at the scenery As you walk the old river trail You see little pieces of the past As you walk by an old cracker village Which is now a ghost town Until a fesitval comes through As you walk the old river trail You see where horses have taken the path Because you have to avoid walking into their mess As you walk the old river trail You approach the river Of icy, clear water And just stare in awe Even though you only see algae on the bottom As you walk the old river trail There are benches near the water You sit and take it all in You hear the nature around you As you sit on a bench on the old river trail When the family is together, the soul is at peace - Russian Proverb |

Old river trails and dusty country roads are wonderful topics for the poet's heart. Sitting still, say on "benches near the water" give one pause to observe things, minuté things we seldom see in our hectic daily life's. Enjoyed this. ~ Life is sexually transmitted ~ |

"You approach the river Of icy, clear water And just stare in awe Even though you only see algae on the bottom" Some interesting perspectives here, like this one. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· "Look! Crumbs on his jacketses... Heeee took it!" |
