TREASURE TROVE
27 September 2011

You know the soul of my todays
and my yesterdays
and my tomorrows
with your heart’s palette
in colours beyond the rainbow
and you soothe my fears
with your caressing eyes
and your seeing hands
as you stroke my hair
as we worship together
the fireglow of love’s bounty.

Owl

A blessed state to be in, dear Owl, you say it most beautifully!

Reading this feels like being wrapped in soft fleece.  There's a lightness to your writing that is very lovely.

The portrait is perfect as you describe it. A masterpiece as it were.

"the fireglow of love’s bounty"

Love it.

The poem is like the seasons, with a beautiful autumn evening at the end.

I picture two lovers, under a burnt orange moon, on a warm October night..
Harvesting the crop of love.

Don't mind me, my mind wonders around a lot.

Is there anyone who doesn't like the glow of a fire - metaphorically or a small friendly one, of course?

Thank you, luminosity.  I am so happy to hear it.  I love making people smile, especially if they don't do so often.
