SMILES AFLAME 27 September 2011 You touch my God places with a sacred heathen-song and they open like a shy flower bursting into impassioned bloom and you twirl me, blend me, sing me, sigh me, paint me, woo me into willow-kissed dance that spirals soft dawn fires into a madcap blaze of sky-high lift of you and me as one over the horizon and around the world and back on the blessings of God’s wings. Our forest songs for moons and moons enchant and there is no other touch but yours. You unlock a million doors of mine that never were, and throw them wide to brilliant sunlight warm and wild, and moonlight as soft and slow as your whispered breath descending on my waiting quivering open lips, and you show me undreamt of window-views of me and you, without, within, and dawn’s brim smiles our hearts in red-hot melt. Sweet Owl, thank you for taking me on this joyous flight of smiles aflame. Truly I would not have desired that you withhold this treasure from any of us!! Grief and smiles, joy and sorrow, and the world goes 'round and 'round! |

Thank you, Shelerella that you, in the midst of your Steaven-grief, can celebrate my joy. Your generosity is more beautiful than any poem could ever be. Owl |
