BRIMSONG SOUL-MELTING 26 September 2011 You wrap me in your castle arms, and your wide-sky love, and your whisper-perfect gifts carry me on butterfly-breath, to the edge of the forever-forest where you softly place your beating heart wrapped in rainbows and flowers and your tingling smile-fingers, in my eager hands and I offer you mine raw, red and unwrapped and you entreat birds to break into song to bless the moment, and your eyes drown in mine as you stroke me with your words in the midday sun and I can no longer tell where your soul ends and mine begins. This is very lovely. "smile-fingers" ... I enjoyed that, and the delicate wordplay; its given the whole piece such a wonderful air. |

Not just a feel-good poem. Extremely moving, deep. "and your whisper-perfect gifts carry me on butterfly-breath, to the edge of the forever-forest where you softly place your beating heart wrapped in rainbows and flowers and your tingling smile-fingers, in my eager hands" This reminds me of a particular moment in my life... thanks for the reminder! |

Thank you, Nicole. I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you, Shelerella. I am deeply happy for the joy it brought you of your Steaven-memory - and achingly sad for its sorrow. But, as you said, joy has its price. And I know you will agree that the torture of the pain is worth the joy, a million times over. Hugs. Owl |
