RETURNING SMILES
23 September 2011

It feels so good to be back
with you where I belong,
sitting here on this low, low, flowerbed wall
with easy access to Benji and Cleo
for pats and strokes and cuddles and conversation,
and the bluest sky overhead
with a million cloud messages
each different from the other
created so carefully
and with so much love
by Flicka, Tigger and Daisy in Heaven.
It is difficult to remember
that there is a bright, warm sun up there
and that it is not the warmth
of your mesmerising smile
that is lighting and warming up the sky.

Loved, loved, loved it.  This is so wonderful and sweet that I'm still smiling!!

Thank you, Aenea with your delightful Aenea-reply.

Flicka is my horse who went to Heaven on 28 April 2002 at the age of 37½ human years after my having been his for 20½ years and knowing him for 2 years before that.

Daisy is my Maltese Poodle who went to Heaven on 18 December 2009.  She was 14½ human years.

Tigger is my tabby cat who went to Heaven on 26 October 2010.  He was 15½ human years.

Benji is my miniature Doberman Pinscher and Cleo is my tortoise-shell cat.  Flicka, Tigger and Daisy found and gave me Benji and Cleo on 31 December 2010.

You make for such a singularly heartwarming community, dear Owl.

Me, King Mizar I and Zelda Electra Heidi understand this very well and love it.

Thank you, James.

Thank you, Margherita.  I didn't know Zelda's second and third name!  Very impressive, and most worthy of her!  Greek drama and happy Swiss mountain life!  King Mizar, I am told by Flicka, Tigger and Daisy, is a wonderful friend to them, and Guardian Angel to you.
