Well folks, back in the seventies
(forgive me for my sins)
My good friend "Deer" and I sold tents
for folks to disco in

We even raffled one away
a big social event
You may have even heard of it
I swear, here's how it went

The winning raffle ticket sold
to one quite lucky gent
Who to this day is still known as
the winner of our disco tent

Balladeer,
How kind of you to say, lol. I try m'friend, lord knows I try.
Doc

Lori,
Thanks for the moral support. Had to take a couple days off, I wasn't feeling "sick" enough to keep witing these, but I'm much worse now, lol.

Giggles!  Much enjoyed Dr Moose, although South Africa's literal winter is over!

Balladeer I adore your puppy picture.

Shakespeare and Steinbeck are surely rolling in their graves... but my groan is a giggling one of appreciation! LOL

suthern,
Thanks for the "giggling groan of appreciation". I gotta say though, I'm kinda holding out for a "chortle". I don't recall getting one of those yet, but a couple people have said they sprayed whatever liquids they were drinking on their computer screens. Is that a "chortle"? Lol.

LOL... I can't recall ever chortling, Doc... I've giggled and snickered, guffawed and snorted, grinned and sputtered, let go with a belly laugh... and maybe even tittered. *G* But I'll see if I can work on the chortle. *G*
