Walking along the river path
Looking at all of God's creations
Deer running in front of you
Bears fishing in the river
Canadian Geese honking
their insecurities
Chipmunks running to
and fro amongst the trees
As you walk the path serene

All those wonderful animals -- you paint a fine picture of Canadian nature. Is the kitten in the picture yours? He's really cute. Bravo for the poem.

this write reminds me of that mental snapshot I've carried with me since my teen years of that majestic buck that joined me in a swimming routine on that hot summer day in the pristine waters of that flooded strip mine...thank you for re-igniting that special memory with your beautiful image-laden words
