Torn from dream in sweat and shake, I wake to faces inside folds of time and scream my guilty innocence, I am always who I've been demanding to be tried or freed, I have no need to stay suspended in web of haunting cold awareness, fragmented consciousness drifting, sifting through sharp winds of quickening, knowing now no hope of sleep inside my keep naught but Wolf Moon howling in my soul. ©2011 by icebox [This message has been edited by icebox (01-21-2011 08:19 PM).] |

Faces coming at you from the "folds of time" can be a scary as hell thing which deserves a healthy scream. Sometimes being who you always were isn't a "Get Out of Jail Free" card. Wolf Moon is an outlet for the pain. Good work. ~ Clones are people two ~ |

Wow that's a haunting poem if I ever read one. Always so well done in your own classic style, and I so enjoying reading you. Love how you suspend your words as if each one holds on to the other. |

It really was bright. And people were acting strange. Even by my standards. *laughing* Stay warm--and I really shouldn't burn candles by the carnelian. |

I wish I could have taken a better picture of it as morning began. We couldn't see it through the clouds and snow at night but it was huge and bright in the early morning hours...sometimes it can take your breath away to see the sun's rise while the moon takes its stand. M can relate to this "I wake to faces inside folds of time and scream my guilty innocence, I am always who I've been" and I guess who I was meant to be~~ |
