Souls When souls meet you can feel the heat of past sparks which flew before time and they themselves knew There's a flicker in the eyes awakening alive that which had slept when hearts hadn't yet met Gentle whispers unspoken once long ago enlivened softly brings to memory images of you and me A pulsating warmth when hands met so familiar the healing touch remembered together comforting and deep Choose now to recognize or let the past lay for tomorrow may be long and the day be finally gone When souls meet you can feel the heat of past sparks which flew before time and they themselves knew. "A pulsating warmth when hands met so familiar the healing touch remembered together comforting and deep" I think you have captured many "Souls" with this write. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

I wrote a poem many years ago which had as its premise that in this cosmos there are two people who already knew each other, and it is merely on a chance meeting that they fell this and thereby two souls blend with the other and we call it love. Your poem says basically the sane thing, except on a much higher plane. ~~ "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." --George Washington ~~ |
