They were strangers to themselves and each other The streets seemed to notice all too well the way he looked at his reflection the way she peered down at her feet Two spirits souls above a glass filled wind Her hair taunting his quiet grin Simply in love with the unknown of the long side of life Of a long heart that screams ones name Tonight, we shall see the joys of each other For tomorrow, we are the envy of the sun The rain that tames the gravel road Here we come to sign our home Strangers, no more |
