On This Day They reached for each other eyes called with love they encouraged one another to fly into God's hands They reached for each other as they jumped the fire behind them found comfort and love in their embrace to survive the hatred surrounding them They reached for each other whispering words of understanding they knew," He will catch us into eternity." They reached for each other There, Spirits flew that day flew to freedom forever their way home of the free and the brave God Bless America |

I believe you are right, dear Ebonygirl. They reached for each other in those moments. Your words are extremely poignant. Love and peace. Margherita |

This is beautiful, Ms E, truly so . . . ~~ "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." --George Washington ~~ |

"they knew," He will catch us into eternity." The people jumping is what I remember the most from that event on 9/11. This really touches the heart. Nice write. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |
