I have seen the ocean And dug my feet in the sand I looked out on the far horizon And realized how very blessed I am There are things in life That I still want to see And there even more things That have not yet come to be But I have seen the ocean And have bathed in her waves I have laid on her sandy beaches And basked in the sun's sweet rays So if ever I feel down OverĀ all I have yet to do I will remember the ocean With her waters and waves so blue "I'll tell you how the sun rose A ribbon at a time..." - Emily Dickinson |

The ocean is no doubt a MUST experience in our lives, to make us aware of the vastness and beauty of our Earth and more and more ... Very beautifully expressed. Love, M |

Each time I see the ocean I am more in awe of its wonder and majesty than the time before! I love that you are so aware of it too! It and its Maker deserve our awe and reverence and adoration. Owl |

Thanks everyone! Its easy on rainy days to forget that the sun is still shining - even if you can't see it from where your standing. So the good, positive, lovely, and kind things in life help me to remember that. And not many could argue against the loveliness of the beach. What a wonderful thought you expressed in your response, Aenea! I see from your profile that you are a Finance Assistant. I so wish that you were a school teacher of small children, or a Sunday School teacher or a counsellor of any kind so that you can enrich the maximum number of people with your joy and wisdom. However, you're doing a pretty good job in Pip's blue pages and probably to those around you in your daily life who are wise enough to listen! I am so glad you came to Pip. Owl |
