You promised me that one day my prince would come White horse Shiny armor Steadfast heart You promised me that he would wake me with a kiss Breath halted Arms trembling Lips tender You promised me that there would be a happy ever after Hands held Lives entwined Hopes fulfilled And now you're trying to tell me that it was just a story Princes are dreams Kisses mean nothing And happily ever after is just a fairly tale But you promised And dammit I want my happy ending And I'm not opening my eyes until I get it! So put that in your fable "I'll tell you how the sun rose A ribbon at a time..." - Emily Dickinson [This message has been edited by MorningStar (09-07-2011 04:28 PM).] |

"And I'm not opening my eyes until I get it! So put that in your fable" You go girl! LOL But you might want to open your eyes. There could be a few potholes along the road. Enjoyed the read. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

Can see the girl stubbornly stamping her feet ... and she is right. Whoever affirms that kisses mean nothing should be stopped from preaching! Good one. M |
