.

The moon glides low
Over silent meadows
A river flows
Toward an open sea

What then now is
If only as symbol
Oak leaves rustle
In a passing breeze

The small white house
A single candle
Where once was love
Is always home

Deer come down
Through autumn shadows
To lick white salt
From colored stone

Where once was love
is always home

And rising melancholy is healed.

Beautiful!

Excellent poetry..composition, delivery, theme, and ending.

Come read to me some poem,
Some simple and heartfelt lay,
That shall soothe this restless feeling
And banish the thoughts of day.
Longfellow
