The demons are here tonight
asking for my hand in marriage

Demons? Our innermost desires can be quite overwhelming and when we acknowledge them they are less threatening, they may be even ... yes butterflies, pure innocent silver wing butterflies, without red demon eyes. ...

I do love your poem very much, as well as your attitude, which unveils your inner beauty.
