As fodder for a fertile mind they lay in one vast heap We pick and choose amongst them all for those that we would keep Arranging them by cadence that they might produce a sound appealing to our notions of what should be written down We rummage through them, sifting, to find pitch perfect tones Whether meant to be uplifting or stripped to their bare bones We wheedle and cajole them, and, then tweak them into place Displayed in all their glory, here, before the human race Word pickers on a mission, high, atop this pile of junk I guess this begs the question folks, uh huh, who would've thunk? suthern, Hah, I beg to differ, lol, having read some of yours. Thanks. Doc Ms E, Glad you liked, true to my "style" I was trying to find the right combination of eloquence and down "hominess", lol. Doc Kat, Thanks, a little something I thought some could relate to. Doc Margherita, Thanks dear, as a fellow "picker" I'm glad you liked. Doc Prasad, Thanks for the R&R, I appreciate your kind words.
