time goes on, I walk Zoë, eat a bite
I'm safe inside, but Paula, where are you
I get in the Taurus and cruise the streets
knowing full well I'll never find you there
you're far away in a town I don't know
still; cruising the streets fills my heart with calm
if I were a hero in your eyes, you'd come
I understand the battle you are waging
its one I have fought; its one I have won
July thirtieth you sent me an email
you said, Dad, it's Paula, I hope you get this
I've been looking for you for a long time
oh, I answered back immediately
I've been answering the email back
every day since that time, to no avail
where are you and why can't you respond
I'm scared for you, and I don't understand
this is a prayer and I'm not a praying guy
get back in touch with me, give me hope
hurry, I am frightened, don't you know that

You express your torment so powerfully, it becomes ours. There should be ways to discover where she lives, but prayer is a mighty tool. I am joining yours and others' here.
