Its nothing special, just a seat. Just a place we use to meet. No arms on the bench, cushions all rended. I could through it away or I could just get it mended. It was here everytime we came to meet. Just you, I, and this tattered old seat. Truthfully, it wasn't overly comfortable, but it held something that I thought was admirable. I can see all the memories stacked up high; dreams of what would be, between you and I. Sorrows and woes, heartaches, and fears, the laughter, the smiles, and all of the tears; it weathered it all, the ups and downs, and quitely listened to all of the sounds. Through the trials and tribulations, happy or sad, that old bench waited, for good or bad. As the days turned to years and even more, that old bench waited just outside the door. As I look back and see all that it had seen, I seen a symbol and all that it does mean. Yes, right, nothing special, just a seat! Its the place where two hearts came to meet. |

That was very sweet and romantic and I loved the ending. Lori |

I loved this piece the first time I read it and I love it still. I want a seat like that, where we come to meet....please. |

I've known a seat or two almost like that. Much enjoyed reading about yours. |
