Can’t Stop What’s Coming! Try as hard as we may We can’t change the truth As hard as going back in time To another time or youth. When it is on its way Whatever is meant to be What it is, is what, it is No matter, what we think, we see. Karma, justice, or fate You can call it what you will We’re all part of Eternity Until, it has had its, fill! We can try to trick it We can, turn the other cheek Try to fight it, proud and strong Or do what some do, the meek. In a hundred years ahead There’s few, who’ll know our name Except for those very few Who have gained fortune or fame. But, each of us will leave our mark The future, it’s ours to hold The impact maybe, miniscule In, those stories to be told. It will always be, what it is Filled with wishes, hopes, and dreams Although, we all do change it No one will notice it, it seems! So, all we can do is go on Through that tunnel, towards the light Until we can't see it, anymore Though we may try, with all our might.
