Thoughts Returning to Meme

Its summertime in Paris
and my thoughts
return to Meme.
Those memories of Meme
when she called out to me
as I was walking by her
at the Cafe Paree,
and we shared a breakfast
of poached eggs, french bread
and the most tasty cheese,
washed down with a cup of coffee
that was as delicious as she.
After breakfast she took me
on her Eiffel Tower tour,
one full of surprises
and French kisses,
high above Paris,
a marvelous view
of the City
with Meme
so young
and pretty.
Already a bucket
of fun
and the day
has only begun.

for noticing me.

mmm poached eggs... think I need to take a food break here. Never been to Paris but you helped me imagine it. Nicely done.
