Slowly the poison ebbs from my system,

  as my pen does what it does so well;

I turn to look to where my heart rests

  and my thoughts seem to mostly dwell.

A face that is so peaceful,

  so beautiful to see.

At rest, tranquil, smiling;

  I hope its a dream about me.

If I could peek

  and see whats there.

I move beside her to sit

  and run my fingers through her hair.

She sighs deeply

  and smiles even more.

I know that she's all mine,

  deep down to the core.

I move back to my desk,

  trying to finish this poem.

Its so difficult,

  for my mind only wants to roam.

I look back to her,

  content as can be;

then I smile slowly,

  knowing that its a dream about me.

Very nice...very, very nice. I liked it alot. Reminds me of...um...oh well, nevermind that...uh great poem!

Beautiful, I found myself looking for the place where my heart rests and my thoughts focus as well, and my heart filled with love, thank you again for posting I am just sorry you can only post three a day!
