I won't fear the darkness The wildness and the chaos As it's part of all thing In all things And in us all The night dwelling in the soul The base and wicked things A complete absence of reason Emotions, seething and churning Or at times, At very low times, The lack thereof Assured in its way Powerful in denial And all encompassing in dread It's there in all times No, I can't fear the darkness As wild things, when caged, will do anything to be be free once again I won't fear the darkness That's common to us all But then again, neither will I submit to it "I'll tell you how the sun rose A ribbon at a time..." - Emily Dickinson |

Yep. Darkness is not to be feared . . . It's those darn shadows that cause all the trouble. I guess I am making light of a poem which has positive vibes. I picked up on the seriousness of the poem. ~ Money can't buy happiness, but broke can't buy anything. ~ |
