    imperishable perfection

She is imperishable perfection
the cold, inscrutable reflection
of forever unreachable beauty
just beyond the flawless bounds
of a mirror within a dream;
and my love is the wind
through lost labyrinths
of her indifference
or the empty caverns
of a broken heart
on this eternal night.
