Arts.....&.....Fire As the vocalist strives to grow then round the bridge from raw and raunchy, fooling around before they try, then sing that sound in search of a soul and you know it when your spine tingles then they are the ones who can play an octave as if it were a ladder hung over their heads on a school ground again, and somersault the air ~*~ As he, or she, touches their own musical instrument, their connection to sound, it is from ear, and bone, inside out and almost, upside down and you know it when your spine shivers then you hear one’s birth in earth, as time is resonant to heat of the heart, and blood bubbles in syncopated stimulation and a tap of foot returns to earth ~*~ Then…there is the one who picks up a quill, hesitantly, then, with a vigor, a need, who hears the song of tempo beating the earth’s drum and you know it when your spine moves this, is the art of the poet, who aligns the song to an instrument then sometimes, with no coronet nor guitar, let alone a trill of key, be it brass, or ivory, need be. ~*~ This art of fine tuning a song, or a note, or a line, once wrote, is never wasted upon those, who consume the fire. |

You capture the essence of finding and fine-tuning a song very well... and the magic to it. Indeed, and art itself never wasted. |

Astonishing in the concept and delightful in its presentation. You know when the words are alive. There is passion upbeat with a slow walk (think Santos and Johnny) and listening to it you know when the dream is real. Your tribute to Doc is masterful and you know when it thuds your heart ~ Eggs and bacon, honeymoon style / What's honeymoon style? / Straight up and hard. ~ |

Sunshine, You have truly rendered me speechless, I'll be back when I find my voice, to say this choked me up would be an understatement. Doc Karilea, Thank you so much, all kidding aside, that is one of the things that I feel makes PIP highly unique, the fact that one can "dare to be different" and still find a sense of community. I may very well be severely handicapped when it comes to expressing my thoughts to others' writes, yet still I am honored with this, as well as the association of so many other fine writers. It is nothing less than a humbling experience while also being a source of pride, and that's one you can take to the bank ( not that they need another bailout at our expense, lol) Doc Oh, and hey, it goes without saying how much I admire the thought, skill, and emotion that went in to making this piece a write I will always remember. ( place smiley face here, I don't use them) Doc [This message has been edited by Dr.Moose1 (07-21-2011 07:49 AM).] |

This leaves me filled with feelings and lacking words... I'll just breathe an "amen!" |
