In the heat of the night I am in the company of strangers wondering where have all the flowers gone with only the squeaking of chains swinging thoughts I've left behind. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

I think the flowers were a symbol for something to fight for, and somewhere along the way the flowers wilted and then were gone. By then life truly does seem like it has chained us. This poem is, as we used to say back in tha day, "heavy," and could be discussed eternally in a forum. ~ Eggs and bacon, honeymoon style / What's honeymoon style? / Straight up and hard. ~ |
