Call of Appalachia Dare to roam these verdant summer hills… (along resplendent streams of endless wander) with a calm, clear mind and unencumbered heart, where ancient rocks speak with the quiet-thunderous ‘voice’ of Deep-Time certainties… and even the tiniest, fallen leaf that drifts in wind or water… shall connect your spirit, (in the ebb and flow of precious, infinitesimal moments) to an eternally creative universal consciousness of boundless beauty and quintescent promise. ---b. e. adams (7/3/2011) |

Love it, love it, love it! I particularly enjoy your poems about those hills that I can see so clearly in my mind's eye, Bruce. Owl |

Sounds exactly how my area of appalachia feels and looks. Once you get off the road, and away from the tourists. There is a spirit in this poem, that is the same spirit in the bear that was in my front yard yesterday. enjoyed Come read to me some poem, |
