Nature's Way A pale-luminous crescent hangs above these ancient nameless hills, bathed in peaceful calm and gentle starlight from a midnight-blue and boundless sky of fresh evening cool, on this night of lovely dreams and endless possibilities that pass unnoticed by the ever melancholy, grasping world of man. Let only the moon and stars and forest heart be your true compass along a very different chosen way. --- b. e. adams (6/18/2011) |

Oh, that would be true connection with Nature, yes, dear Bruce. Very beautiful and serene. Yesterday evening I was at an open air concert under Pine trees and there was such a grand atmosphere, the indigo sky above, the breeze, the music ... and I could only spot one single star, the most luminous one ... maybe it was Sirius. Too much light hides the firmament, so sad! Enjoyed your poem very much. Love, Margherita |

Exquisite, Bruce. That last sentence has so much connection and so much loneliness. Owl |

Bruce, Beautiful view that you share with us. Sometimes looking at such vastness and such the incredible views around me make me feel insignificant and somewhat lonely. Then, I look up high, high, high and wonder what is next. You have me thinking, my friend. Alison |
