It is.....! |

It is....! It is the blink that makes one man with eyes blind and another man with vision see. It is the power of the toe on the foot pivoting on its axis and balancing Man's chaotic nature with its spin. It is the breath behind the note that sweetens the melody to the ear with its wings of wind and the pin prick in the brain's butt that lifts the couch potato with the force of a hammer that builds kingdoms, once he's on his feet. It is the Feather of Belief that raises a man's head and dignity from the gutter so he may look up into the face of God and in His eyes see himself redeemed. It is that single drop of Courage that enables one man with It to make leaps of progress, even in the darkness, while another man without It becomes riveted with Fear, even in the daylight. It is one determined fragile finger with one ounce of Faith pushing one mighty mountain over one inch to the awe of all disbelievers while the chisel chips the stoneblock for the masterpiece within, transforming the mediocre into the meteoric. It is the power to envision what can be harnessed to the actions that make it real. It is in all of us. It is in all of me. It is in all of you. Namyh |

WoW! If I didn't know better, this could very well be a rebuttal of my latest poem. There is so much in the body of your poem that makes me smile, then it makes me shake my head even as I nod in compliance seconds later. Very much enjoyed this. ~ Those are my principles, and if you don't like them ... well, I have others. ~ |

And it is this poem, that fires my fires even higher, and to which I will turn, when they burn low! I love it, Namyh. It is sensitive, powerful, true, inspiring and very, very beautiful. Well done! Owl |

With your permission, I would like to read your poem at the next Poetry Club meeting I have with a children's home. How do you pronounce "Namyh" please, as I would like to get it right for the children, besides which, I would like to know for myself as well? Owl |

Kat – You know it’s going to be a good day when the words of one poet provoke thoughts in the mind of another poet. I think every poet finds or must find a focal point within from which their voice comes across with an individuality that’s clear and that also leaves the reader a’thinking. So very glad this set you to thinking. Now you’ve got me feeling a little well provoked and I kinda like it. Thanks Kat. Namyh |

JerryP – Hey Jerry! A smile, a shaking of the head and a nod of compliance - What scribbler of words could ask for more than that. I tried to write it the way I felt it. Makes a poet proud you found so much in the body of this work and thanks for the ‘WoW!’. Hey! Now I’m startin’ to shake and nod. Thanks JP. Namyh |

Owl – Whenever your ignited fires begin to burn low, take one dose of “It is…” in the morning followed by 1 dose of “It is…” in the evening. If higher levels of combustion are slow in coming, take an additional dose but only with a doctor’s recommendation. LOL. In addition, I would be honored for you to read this work at the next Poetry Club meeting at the children’s home. Now you’ve swelled me with pride. Oh! Oh! I feel the fire quickly burning higher. Stand back! I’m gonna combust. Boom! Thanks Owl. I needed that. Whew! Namyh P.S. – By the way Owl, Namyh is pronounced – Nah’meee. |

martiniat8 - Impossibility exists in the mind of the disbeliever. But the believer knows that he doesn’t have to settle for what is when he possesses the individual power to envision what can be and the action ability to make it real; speeds become limitless and mountains become stepping stones. Then status, money and education become servants to that power because the individual says "It Is". That’ll put an EPIC in anybody’s day. So let it be written. So let it be done. Thanks for being riveted martiniat8 and for enjoying. Namyh |

It is the breath behind the note that sweetens the melody to the ear with its wings of wind I totally agree with all of your visions, dear Namyh. IT IS indeed in all of us and you have created a very convincing, beautifully crafted reminder here. Love, Margherita |

Ahh Shucks Faith! Now you got me feelin’ all warm, fuzzy and inspired. Very happy you stopped by for the message and found it ‘simply and beautifully brilliant’. Now you got me all teary and emotional and stuff because you loved it. It’s given me Faith. Whoa! Namyh P.S. – Somebody get me a Kleenex. Make it two. Oh! Gimme the whole box. LOL. |

Margherita – That breath behind the note was waiting breathlessly just for you. So very happy this crafted reminder was convincing for you. I guess that’s the way “It is….”. Glad the visions got across to you too on some wings of wind. Thanks Margherita. Namyh |

It is! A very powerful poem, poet. Thank you for holding me breathless for suspended moments... a !! "The business of the poet...is to show the sorriness underlying the grandest things and the grandeur underlying the sorriest things." Thomas Hardy |

Owl – Enjoy the read Owl. By the way, that prescription is an old family recipe which has often prevented me from bursting into flames. LOL. Thanks again. Namyh Dark Stranger – “the it of it all” – If I had to put it in words, that’s the way I’d say it too. Strange how the most significant of things often have the least significant of origins. So glad you enjoyed. Namyh |

Sunshine – No higher compliment can be paid to a poet than for a created work to hold its reader ‘breathless for suspended moments’. Thanks for enjoying and also for your sunshine words, Sunshine. Now that’s a keeper too. Namyh |
