driving down the highway in my new XG-350 i'm listening to a roy orbison cd and thinking of you and how you love me sweetly wishing i could turn back time and be the person that i was when you showered me with a love so strong you loved me sweetly when i passed you on the road and you waved to me our eyes met but only briefly as you smiled so tenderly it made me lonesome for days gone by when oh, you loved me sweetly There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

It difficult to forget those days you were loved sweetly. I have that memory. Nanette. What a prize I had, but I was all messed up in those crazy sixties' days I pushed her away from me again and again. I''m paying for it now. Good poem. ~ Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.--Will Rogers ~ |

Thank you, JerryPat. I never understood why he married someone else. Oh, well, that's life I guess. I've just thought about him more lately since he recently passed away. Love, faith There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

faithmairee - This was poetically tender and sweet. It made me think that we shouldn't be sad because a relationship is over. But we should feel lucky because it happened, which puts things in a different light and brings back memories. Good work. Namyh |

Sometimes music brings back memories and we dwell for a while in them and when they are as sweet as yours here they can cause our hearts to smile. Very lovely, dear Faith! Love and hugs. Margherita |

Faith, this is another good one, I like the way you repeated the last line of each stanza. I really enjoyed this one very much! Lori |

Dear Namyh-I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond to your wonderful remarks. My work schedule is messed up so I'm away from here more than I would like. I'm honored by your lovely comments. Yes, you got my message in this one very well. Love, Faith There must be a poem in here somewhere. |
