A week after eternity is now,
The old ones did foretell a coming doom.
The girl and I know only pain, no Tao,
We cling to each other as in the womb.

The fire that we keep burning is our shrine,
A clinging mist hovers o'er day and night.
Gloom and anguish fill all our waking time,
This is my ledger and of things I write.

Where light shines not in this land of forgot,
Shadows lurk as we pray in our grotto.
Our skin begins to loosen, soon to rot,
Life is cruel, there is no joy, only woe.

The world came to an end to our great shock,
We pray to the Saints all night until morn.
To no gain, they tried to warn, now they mock,
They laugh and point at us, heaping on scorn.

We are alone, no one else is alive,
The girl and I will save the world we pray.
We have done our best, the earth to revive,
We had the romance dance, baby due; May.

So, in the end, there has been a moment of bliss in all of the woe ...

I guess May is a good month to be born in, there are cherries and abricots and some other delicacies, if Mother Earth will still be able to produce them "in the time after eternity ....".

Thanks Margherita, for being here. Yeah about the ending. I may be basically a pessimistic-looking kind of guy, but even with that I always try to find a way out of the problems.
