I want to write you something Lord knows I have the time I want it to be special But all I can do is rhyme I want you to know what you mean to me I want you to have no doubt Your loving means so much to me Your love I can't do without These feelings that I have for you I wish I could explain Wanting so badly to find the right words It almost causes pain But then I sit and realise As I write these words to you There is no reason to dwell on words You know what I go through Im hoping to finish this poem Before I get your call Knowing when I read it to you How much deeper we will fall It almost seems unreal The feelings we share together It's only been three months And I feel I've known you forever I am nearly in a dreaming-state At the time of writing this Though every thought of you is like a dream Full of love and happiness The thought of being without you Is near to much to bare So know that I mean this with heart and soul I will always be there Through any ups or downs That we may go through My words, thoughts and feelings Will always remain true. One of these days I'll write you a poem That doesn't rhyme so much But these rhymes they just keep coming back Like a turd that will not flush I don't mean to get off topic But this I have to say This maybe the only love poem With the word turd in it - Written to this day But I love to hear that giggle That laugh that is so sweet A sound that could mend the saddest of hearts And make the strongest of men grow weak It's time for me to wrap this up For I am running out of pages Just know that you deserve more love Than even Shakespear's inspired - Through the ages These rhymes may seem a little childish Or even a bit nursery I just wanted a special way To say Happy Anniversary. It's not easy being evil, in a world gone to hell. |
