I thought to raise up from the past the words of love created last for life finds me now silent, still, in fear of what tomorrow brings. 'twas a voice that hit the notes on cue and gave to love its fulsome due and I think sometimes you listened in between your life's ambitions. But in the silence of love's heart there beats remembrances of past and I find sometimes I tap-tap-tap to a melody I cannot hear. One day again like back then you'll hear me sing again for nothing started ere can cease because of life's artful design. Until, until, I sing again remember, please remember! Helen / 4 June 2011 |

Nostalgic with a strong push toward the NOW. I really like and was touched by this particular poem. There are lines and phrases throughout that speak to me, such as . . . "But in the silence of love's heart there beats remembrances of past and I find sometimes I tap-tap-tap to a melody I cannot hear." The depth of peace life gives up to those living is a sometimes untrustworthy emotion. ~ Diplomacy is the art of saying 'Nice doggie' until you can find a rock ~ |

Thank you so much, Jerry, and, yes, I agree with your comment. I wonder if we can ever truly say we are at peace. Helen |

Dear Helen, it's good to read you as always you offer poetic excellence. I do believe both parts involved remember what has been, but some can let go and look forward and others remain stuck in the past. Please do not fear tomorrow, that is a bad thing to do, as Universe seems to create what you fear, as it creates what you visualize. So we must be careful with our thoughts ... Memories can be so very sweet no doubt, but the fruit not yet tasted, the one that may ripen just now, will taste even sweeter. Breathe and be love and love will find you. Love and hugs. Margherita |

I saw you dancing all alone. One day you'd belong to me, next day I just wouldn't know. One day all the rules will bend, and you and I will meet again. -Tom Petty, from the Into the Great Wide Open album. This is a very lovely write Honeybunch, thank you much.
