Beneath the Morning Star Though we bear the grim and heavy cloak of mortal hours down life’s fortuitous labyrinth of outrageous sorrows seeking some ever-elusive cynosure of plan and purpose, just beyond the inscrutable moon-lit shadows and dying stars of dawn, our transcendent dreams still whisper to our longing hearts from somewhere in Deep-time’s boundless, immortal sea, that the only ‘truth’ worth seeking lies within ourselves and in the freshness and freedom of the dancing mist and sunbeams ... beneath a wilderness morning star. --- b. e. adams (5/28/2011) [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (05-28-2011 09:59 PM).] |

Whilst I don't agree fully with contents, this remains a very beautiful, part negative, part positive poem. Owl |

The gifts of dawn, dear Bruce, you feel them deeply and share them with impressive poetic skill. Within the core of our being we carry the truth and it longs to surface from our subconscious mind into awakened consciousness. No better place for this kind of contemplation than "beneath the Morning Star". Most beautiful. Love, Margherita |
