brocaded satin on furrows of silk mirrored images soft the night away love-glances glisten as hushed tones shout proclaiming the cinderella closures of day brocaded satin on furrows of silk lens shoot then load then shoot again chiffon swirls exhaling exuberance pronouncing the jasmine-jewel strain brocaded satin on furrows of silk rainbow crystals amber the theft of light stolen breaths suffocate the shadows dim phonating smile-barks that cool the night brocaded satin on furrows of silk buttoned tightly to life-flowing trains bubbling gently through streams of a lifetime blossoming bold at the dawning of day |

This is one of the most beautiful and serene poems I have ever read. I love every word, but my favourite line is "phonating smile-barks that cool the night" - I love those barks too. I enjoyed "phonating" as well. I am not sure whether you sculpted it yourself or whether it existed before your poem, but either way, it works perfectly here. Owl |

This is very beautifully written. I do love the feel of satin. I loved the imagery in this piece. I truly enjoyed the read!!! When the family is together, the soul is at peace - Russian Proverb |

Owl, I am truly humbled by your special remarks…and as far as phonating goes, the definition of phonate is “to produce sounds, especially speech sounds, with the voice”…wish I could take credit for it, but, alas, I cannot faithm, I am so glad you stopped by and liked it…thank you so much TDoctor, thank you…your focus on satin is dead on…I went bridal shopping with my daughter today and we bought her wedding gown…she is stunning (not that I’m a touch prejudiced) |
